Chuck FowlerChuck Fowler started Global Procurement Solutions, Inc. (GPS) in 2010 to fulfil his desire to provide Green Seal Certified sanitation paper products to the federal government (particularly the VA) at a lower price that they were paying for non-green paper.

His goals were simple: help the government save budget dollars while benefiting the environment.  Over the last four years, GPS has grown from focusing on those few Green Seal Certified products to distribution of over 25,000 products covering the full spectrum of both janitorial and office supplies.  The original mission to make environmentally friendly products less expensive and readily available to the federal government is still a cornerstone of GPS’s philosophy.  Chuck also wanted to make purchasing easy for government buyers who share his passion for “green products”.  This resulted in the development of the “Buy Green” button on the GPSFederal.com website.  Chuck is an avid outdoorsman and his is fully vested in conserving our environment.  He works hard to ensure that GPS continues to offer eco-friendly products are easy to find as well as affordable.

When you buy from GPS, you are purchasing from a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB).  Chuck Fowler has been in the United States Army since 1984 when he enlisted as a private E-1.  Over his years of service, Chuck progressed to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the US Army Reserve.  He spent his early years with the infantry before transferring into the Special Operations Community – where he has been ever since.  He had a thriving regional finance business prior to the events of 9/11.  After those events, he again felt called to service and immediately volunteered to deploy to Afghanistan in 2002. He has continued to deploy since then, both in Iraq 2004-2005 and Syria in 2018-2019, and while his service to his country in uniform is nearly over, Chuck’s commitment to serving the United States and its citizens lives on in part through GPS.
